Create Employee

Creating an employee is simple and you have two options: 

  1. Create a single employee
  2. Import list of employees

Context Note for Employee Access: 

 ChatFortress has an integrated 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) system integrated into our system for access control. This prevents account compromise. ChatFortress does not use a PASSWORD access system. All users will receive an access code via SMS text message or email when they want to login to our system. 

Create an Employee 

Click the "Create" Employee button to add a single new employee to your ChatFortress account.

Fields for Creating an Employee: 

You will need to have the Employee First Name, Last Name and either one of the following: Email or Cell Phone. 

  • If you add both EMAIL and Cell Phone you can configure in notification how the employee will be notified of new training lessons.

Click the CREATE button when you have finished creating your Employee account. 

How do I know my Employee Create was successful? 

You will know that your employee create was successful if you now see your employee listed within the employee table: 

Import Employee List

To bulk import your employee list you can use the current Employee Import CSV template.

Notes: 

  • Import file MUST be a CSV File
  • Import file MUST have the HEADER row formatted like our template, and referenced below. 
  • If you are having issues you can email your import file to help@chatfortress.com and our team will import your employees for you. 

Header fields are: 

FirstName
LastName
Email
Cellphone
NotificationsEmail
NotificationsSMS

Notification Fields: 

The NotificationsEmail and NotificationsSMS fields require a TRUE or FALSE answer. TRUE means that YES you want to receive a notification via this channel. False means you do not want to receive notifications via this channel. This system will automatically apply both or apply the available field a TRUE.
