CONFIGURE WINDOWS NOTIFICATION SETTINGS TO ALLOW POPUP NOTIFICATIONS WHEN MALWARE IS DETECTED

This article describes how to configure Windows notification settings to allow popup notifications when malware is detected.

You can perform this procedure if Cybereason detects and reports malware in the Cybereason UI, but popup notifications are not displayed on your machine.

Notifications also appear in the Windows Action Center.

IMPORTANT:

For the system tray icon and notifications to appear, the end-user machine must have .NET Framework 4.0 or higher enabled.

STEPS
  1. On your Windows machine, go to Notifications & actions settings, and set the Notifications toggle to On.

2. In the Focus assist system settings, select Off to get all notifications from your apps. This will allow your machine to display popup notifications from Cybereason

3. After configuring the above Windows settings, popup notifications will be displayed when malware is detected.
